Carpet Cleaning Care is a successful employment project established in 1993, operating within the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM). We invest all our profit back into the business for the benefit of our customers and our workforce.
We provide high quality professional carpet, floor and upholstery cleaning at competitive rates; in offices, homes and hospitals. We have a range of hi-tech specialist cleaning equipment and only use the most effective cleaning products, which enable us to get the best possible results. We also recycle all our packaging and containers.
We offer work and training opportunities for people excluded from the labour market which enable them to gain the necessary skills to obtain employment. Currently we have a workforce of 14 people all trained to use our machinery and products safely. Training is ongoing so everyone is kept up-to-date with the latest cleaning materials and techniques.
We hold regular workforce meetings where each team member has a say in how the project develops. We also use these meetings to share ideas and run training sessions on customer service and other subjects requested by the workers.
"Kevin and service user Nick did a great job cleaning my pure wool Italian rug (6' x 8') both sides and a large office chair within an hour and only charged me £20! They took great care not to let too much water get to my laminated floor. Both very friendly. I'll get them back each summer."
